Civil Engineer and Architect, with M.Sc. in Building Engineering, he is currently a Ph.D. Student at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. His research is focused on strengthening concrete structures with FRP materials and analyzing the structural performance of hybrid composite beams. Other interests of his research include transdisciplinary and encyclopaedic reviews of phenomena, architecture and psychology. He has coauthored 3 journal articles and participated in 3 scientific conferences.

Assistant Professor at the UPC where he obtained a PhD in Structural Analysis in 2012. He has a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering and a degree in Music at the College of Music of Catalunya. During 2010 he spent a research period at the University of Colorado in Boulder (USA). His research activity is focused on composite materials, plate and shells finite elements, dynamic analysis, musical acoustics and nondestructive testing.
